About the role
Yandex is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its financial team. You will be responsible for managing bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records across group companies.
Key responsibilities
- Handle bookkeeping and maintain all financial records for group companies using Oracle.
- Maintain records of bank statements, incoming invoices, and outgoing invoices.
- Participate in the preparation of tax returns (VAT, WHT) and work on the SEF portal.
- Reconcile with external partners such as tax authorities, municipal offices, vendors, and customers.
- Prepare reports for NBS (DI‑1, DI‑2, and other forms) following internal procedures.
- Ensure accurate balances on general ledger (GL) accounts.
Required profile
- 4+ years of experience as an Accountant.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong influencing, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Forward‑thinking approach and commitment to improving management accounting processes.
