Accounts Receivable Associate, Accounting Shared Services

About the role

We are seeking motivated Accounts Receivable Associates to join our new Shared Service Center team. You will support Magna in optimizing global financial operations in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and incoming payments, and contributing to the harmonization of AR processes across several European countries.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer invoices and monitor incoming payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to Accounts Receivable.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Controlling, HR, and IT.
• Contribute to documentation and standardization of AR procedures.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding AR transactions.

Required profile

• Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• 1+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting preferred.
• Experience in a Shared Service Center or international environment is a plus.
