Business Development Representative – German Language

About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to accelerate outbound pipeline growth across German‑speaking markets. You will be one of the first touchpoints for Mid‑Market and Enterprise prospects, working closely with Enterprise Account Executives to build and qualify opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Own outbound prospecting for Mid‑Market and Enterprise accounts via calls, emails, and LinkedIn sequences.
• Partner directly with a paired Enterprise AE to align on target accounts, pipeline priorities, and handoffs.
• Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and craft messaging that generates responses.
• Leverage AI‑enabled sales and automation tools to personalize outreach at scale.
• Represent Gorgias at industry events and conferences in North America (3–5 times per year).
• Collaborate with Partnerships, Marketing, and Events teams to uncover new lead angles.

Required profile

• Fully fluent in spoken German.
• Early‑career professional with a strong interest in technology and sales.
• Collaborative team player with experience contributing in group settings (e.g., work teams, sports, volunteer leadership).
• Comfortable with cold outreach and resilient when prospects do not respond.
• Coach‑able, curious, and motivated to exceed performance goals.
