Change Manager

About the role

The Change Manager will be the operational owner of all Business‑as‑Usual (BAU) change activities for the McDonald’s UK Managed Services contract. This customer‑facing role ensures that every planned change is assessed, coordinated, approved, and implemented with minimal risk to restaurant operations. The position works closely with multiple internal teams and the customer to maintain service stability for one of NCR Voyix’s largest managed‑services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end change management process for the McDonald’s UK Managed Services contract.
• Review, assess, prioritize, and coordinate customer change requests.
• Document changes, perform risk assessments, obtain approvals, and communicate plans.
• Maintain a complete audit trail for compliance and contractual reporting.
• Manage change schedules, blackout periods, and change‑freeze windows.
• Coordinate software deployments across NCR Voyix delivery organizations.
• Provide consultative guidance on deployment approaches, risks, timelines, and business impacts.
• Ensure testing, certification, customer validation, and approvals are completed before deployment.
• Lead post‑implementation reviews and drive lessons‑learned activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate change‑related risks to protect service stability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in change management within a managed‑services or large‑scale IT environment.
• Strong ability to partner with Service Delivery Managers, Engineering, Professional Services, Quality Engineering, Incident Management, and customer stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating change board meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance, auditability, and contractual obligations.
