Cheminformatics Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for Cheminformatics Engineers to join its life‑sciences practice. You will work on advanced cheminformatics features for global clients, contributing to product development, algorithm integration, and chemical data management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, research, and develop product features with advanced cheminformatics capabilities.
• Integrate and adapt existing cheminformatics algorithms to meet client specifications.
• Design, implement, and maintain databases for chemical data storage and retrieval.
• Ensure code and components comply with internal quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a related scientific field.
• Strong knowledge of cheminformatics and molecular modeling.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Python programming.
• Desire to grow as an IT specialist in life sciences and cheminformatics.
