Cheminformatics Engineer – Life Sciences

About the role

EPAM is looking for Cheminformatics Engineers to join its life sciences team. You will work on advanced cheminformatics features, integrate algorithms for client projects, and manage chemical data storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, research, and develop product features with advanced cheminformatics capabilities.
• Integrate and adapt existing cheminformatics algorithms to meet client specifications.
• Develop and maintain databases for chemical data storage and retrieval.
• Ensure code and components comply with internal quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cheminformatics and molecular modeling.
• 2+ years of experience in Python programming.
• Familiarity with RDKit or a comparable cheminformatics library.
• Desire to grow as an IT specialist in life sciences and cheminformatics.
