Contract Manager

About the role

The Contracts Manager will oversee the administration of client, subcontractor and supplier contracts across Modulor’s project portfolio, from tender stage through to final account. The role ensures the company’s commercial interests are protected while maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate main contracts, sub‑contracts and supply agreements.
• Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, including variations, notices, extensions of time and correspondence.
• Prepare and evaluate claims (delay, disruption, variation) and support their resolution.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quantity Surveying and Site Management to meet contractual obligations and deadlines.
• Monitor contractual risk exposure and escalate issues to senior management.
• Support the tender team by reviewing contracts and flagging risks during the bidding stage.
• Maintain organized contract records, correspondence logs and key date registers.
• Assist in dispute avoidance and, when required, dispute resolution processes such as negotiation, mediation or adjudication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law or a related field.
• 4–8 years of contracts administration experience in construction or façade contracting.
• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC or equivalent standard forms of contract.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Legal background or professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CIArb) is a plus.
• Experience with international clients or multi‑jurisdiction projects is desirable.
