English Editor (Full‑time, Belgrade)

About the role

MDPI is seeking meticulous English Editors to support scholars in publishing their research. Based in Belgrade, you will edit peer‑reviewed manuscripts to meet publication standards while preserving the authors' voice.

Key responsibilities

• Edit scholarly articles across diverse subjects to a publication‑ready standard.
• Apply expert knowledge of English to ensure clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy.
• Ensure manuscripts comply with MDPI’s house rules and style guidelines.
• Meet tight deadlines and maintain high consistency in output.
• Participate in training colleagues and editing corporate material as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Expert knowledge of the English language.
• Experience in editing or translating.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently and within an international team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LaTeX.
