IT Workplace Engineer

About the role

In this IT Workplace Engineer role you will join Kuehne+Nagel’s Global IT Workplace team in Belgrade, providing third‑level support for endpoint management across Windows and macOS devices worldwide. You will help secure, patch and configure devices, automate routine tasks and collaborate with colleagues in Estonia, Germany and the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Increase endpoint security by implementing best‑practice policies and configurations.
• Manage patch and vulnerability remediation for operating systems and standard applications.
• Build, test and deploy configuration policies for Windows and macOS devices.
• Provide 3rd‑level technical support for remote device management.
• Automate daily tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and determine optimal solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation such as user guides, admin guides and knowledge‑base articles.
• Research and evaluate emerging tools, techniques and IT technologies.

Required profile

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum high school degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience managing Microsoft 365 products and endpoint solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Windows and macOS operating system management.
• Microsoft Intune, MECM, Azure Entra, Microsoft 365 Apps.
• Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), LDAP, Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation.
• MS Graph (Azure API) integration.
• Windows Installer technologies and packaging tools.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) exposure.
• Knowledge of network protocols (IPv4, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
• Git version control.
