Junior Fund Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Fund Accountant to join Apex Group’s fund administration team. The role supports the preparation of financial statements, daily cash monitoring and audit coordination for a variety of private‑equity and investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and input daily journal entries.
• Produce fund financial statements, footnotes and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate and support year‑end audit processes.
• Monitor and record daily cash activity and capital allocations.
• Track portfolio company transactions and calculate investment returns.
• Respond to investor and investment requests.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and client‑specific assistance as required.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• University degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Audit.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Highly motivated team player with ability to multitask.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
