Part‑time Academic Peer Reviewer (PhD) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD to join our network of peer reviewers. This high‑paying, part‑time position allows you to work remotely while contributing to the quality of scholarly publications in education and educational research.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check literature reviews for relevance and completeness.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and significance.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in education or a related discipline.
• At least three publications in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals within the last two years.
• At least twelve publications in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals over the past ten years.
• Strong understanding of research methods and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
