Senior Accountant (French language required)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a global logistics leader in Novi Beograd. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with IFRS, and driving process improvements within a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procedures that guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data.
• Identify control weaknesses, assess financial risks, and propose enhancements to internal control systems.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve accounting processes.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and reporting activities, delivering timely monthly and annual close.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/MSFI standards and internal finance policies.
• Maintain precise financial documentation and coordinate audits and reconciliations.
• Identify automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial statements and documentation.
• Prepare and file statutory financial reports for all relevant legal entities.
• Support intercompany transaction reconciliation and transfer‑pricing processes across multiple countries.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting within an international setting.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
