Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions across iGaming operations, including day‑to‑day bookkeeping, reconciliations and support for audits.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, PSP settlements, operational expenses and intercompany transfers.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all accounts.
• Process vendor invoices, employee expenses and intercompany postings.
• Support treasury team in analyzing payment‑related fees, chargebacks and refunds.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and produce performance dashboards.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing schedules, reconciliations and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and regulatory requirements such as safeguarding player funds and AML controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation tools for reconciliations and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in senior accounting roles, preferably in iGaming, PSPs, fintech or other high‑volume transactional environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and financial reporting.
• Proven experience preparing management accounts and supporting audits.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with treasury and operations teams.
