Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Toggl is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own end‑to‑end features for its manager‑focused product tribe. You will work on planning, capacity management and reporting components of Toggl 2.0, shaping both the API and the user interface.

Key responsibilities

• Take features from concept to production, defining technical approaches across front‑end and back‑end.
• Make autonomous technical decisions, evaluate trade‑offs and keep the tribe informed of risks.
• Design and implement performant data models and APIs that support dense, real‑world data visualisations.
• Build responsive UI components with React and TypeScript, ensuring speed and accessibility at scale.
• Profile, measure and optimise both query performance and rendering performance.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and fellow engineers in a small, high‑visibility team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience delivering full‑stack features in a fast‑moving product environment.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to keep the tribe aligned and to surface risks early.
• Comfortable working across time zones and attending core team meetings (11:00‑16:00 UTC).
