Senior Pharmacovigilance Officer / Team Leader

About the role

PrimeVigilance is seeking a Senior Pharmacovigilance Officer to lead its ICSR team and act as a key liaison for clients and internal stakeholders. The role combines line‑management, process optimisation and expert support across pharmacovigilance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Line‑manage assigned ICSR staff and act as the team subject‑matter expert.
• Create and maintain project‑specific KPIs, optimise procedures and deliver training to improve ICSR efficiency.
• Propose and implement process changes in collaboration with the ICSR Operational Lead.
• Manage ICSR deviations, review trackers and timesheet data for accuracy.
• Perform ICSR processing and second‑level quality control of cases.
• Support other departments as directed and act as Local Contact Person for Pharmacovigilance (LCPPV) and Person Responsible for Local Screening (PRLS) for designated languages.

Required profile

• Life‑science degree (pharmacy, nursing or related) or equivalent pharmacovigilance experience.
• 3‑4 years of pharmacovigilance experience, including at least 1 year in a line‑manager role.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organisational, delegation, planning and time‑management abilities.
• Team‑working mindset and ability to support cross‑functional initiatives.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
