Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance microservices that power our search, recommendation, order management, and payment domains. You will work on a 24/7 platform deployed on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot.
• Optimize existing services for performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Write clean, reusable code and comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Create libraries, expose APIs and ensure efficient communication between components.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for features, APIs and system architecture.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Leverage AI tools to boost development productivity and promote their adoption.
• Contribute to architectural design and technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend development experience, primarily in Java.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and database migration tools.
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as JPA or Hibernate.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities and fluent English.
