About the role
We are looking for an experienced accountant to lead our accounting team operating in Montenegro and North Macedonia. The role combines strategic guidance, decision‑making in complex situations, and hands‑on involvement in key accounting processes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and organise the daily work of the accounting team.
- Participate in the preparation of year‑end accounts and financial statements.
- Control the general ledger, tax processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal partners.
- Mentor team members and drive improvements in accounting procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Proven experience in leading or mentoring staff.
- Strong knowledge of year‑end accounts, general ledger and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in English.
