Chief Financial Analyst

About the role

We are a fast‑growing fintech focused on financial inclusion in Nigeria, offering loans, savings, and fixed‑deposit products. We are looking for a Chief Financial Analyst to report directly to the CFO and lead the development of robust financial models, forecasts, and analyses that shape our business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Implement best‑practice product profitability management and regular assessment processes.
• Establish solid business‑controlling procedures for new initiatives, including post‑implementation reviews.
• Drive financial reporting and performance analysis, covering risk identification, variance, and dynamic analysis.
• Provide expertise in asset‑liability management, deposit pricing, interest‑rate risk, and transfer pricing.
• Lead OPEX management initiatives such as cost planning, analytics, benchmarking, and optimization.
• Design and maintain diversified financial models tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting, supporting the FP&A team and ensuring monthly operational budget updates.
• Coordinate closely with risk management and data‑science teams to align models, cut‑off policies, and risk budgeting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling, and reporting within a fintech or banking environment.
• Strong understanding of product profitability, ALM, and OPEX management.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and work closely with risk and data‑science teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
