Field Service Supervisor – Electrical (EMEA)

About the role

Voith Hydro is seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor – Electrical to lead the installation of hydroelectric generators on customer sites worldwide. You will act as the main liaison between project management, engineering, subcontractors and customers, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of hydroelectric generators, including stator and rotor assembly, stacking and winding.
• Perform and support electrical measurements, inspections and testing, verifying compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate daily installation activities, support project scheduling and resource planning, and manage interfaces with customers and subcontractors.
• Ensure all tools, equipment and materials are available on site and monitor their proper use.
• Maintain quality assurance standards, complete measurement records, inspection protocols and technical documentation.
• Prepare weekly progress reports, document meetings, and handle deviation reports and HSE documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture through briefings, inspections and compliance with HSE policies.
• Lead internal technicians and subcontractor teams, plan daily work and monitor productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising electrical installation projects in industrial or hydro‑power environments.
• Strong ability to coordinate with engineering, project management and subcontractor teams.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance and HSE procedures.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to manage risks on site.
