Financial Controller – Planning & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking an analytical, business‑oriented Financial Controller – Planning & Analysis to join the finance team of an international company with stable, growing operations. In this position you will lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, analyse performance and deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information and key KPIs.
• Lead and coordinate planning, budgeting and forecasting activities across the organization.
• Perform actual vs. budget vs. forecast analysis, identifying drivers, risks and deviations.
• Develop financial models, scenario and sensitivity analyses to support business planning.
• Identify financial and operational risks, trends and opportunities, providing timely recommendations.
• Support financial evaluation of customers, contracts, pricing proposals and new initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand revenue, cost, profitability and cash‑flow drivers.
• Contribute to month‑end closing and monthly management reporting, including variance analysis.
• Present clear, concise financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Follow up on identified issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial controlling, FP&A, business controlling or management reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on trends, risks and key business drivers.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
