Financial Controller – Real Estate & Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller specialized in Real Estate & Construction to join our Business Services Finance team. The role focuses on lease accounting and rent‑related financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting month‑end and year‑end closures in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities for the RE&C area.
• Prepare and improve financial reports, analyses and models for decision‑making and external reporting.
• Analyze results, identify trends, variances and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform reconciliations, validations and financial controls to guarantee data reliability.
• Support balance‑sheet and P&L reporting related to lease and rental activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and internal policies for lease transactions.
• Identify and implement process standardisation, automation and optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with finance teams, business stakeholders and international colleagues to enhance systems and controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of experience in financial control, accounting, reporting or auditing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent English and willingness to learn and improve processes.
