Financial Controller Real Estate & Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller for Real Estate & Construction to join our Business Services Finance team. The role focuses on lease accounting and rent‑related financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting month‑end and year‑end closures in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities for the RE&C area, guaranteeing data accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare, develop and improve financial reports, analyses and models for decision‑making and external reporting.
• Analyse results, identify trends, variances and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform reconciliations, validations and financial controls for lease and rental activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and internal policies for lease accounting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Netherlands and Serbia to standardise and automate financial processes.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in financial control, accounting, reporting or auditing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and structured work approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills in English.
