Fundraising & Partnerships Manager

About the role

Fondacija Humanist is seeking a proactive Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to lead the design and execution of fundraising strategies that support medical treatment, life‑saving care, and social‑justice initiatives. Based in Belgrade, you will work on‑site with a dedicated team to build lasting relationships with donors, sponsors, foundations and corporate partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns.
• Identify, approach and nurture long‑term relationships with individual donors, companies, sponsors, foundations and institutional partners.
• Secure donations, sponsorships, grants and other financial support.
• Prepare proposals, sponsorship packages, presentations and donor communications.
• Organise and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns.
• Maintain and expand the donor and partner network.
• Manage donor relationships with timely, professional communication.
• Keep accurate donor records and produce fundraising reports.
• Collaborate with program, communications and management teams.
• Identify new fundraising opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Monitor results and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
• Represent the foundation professionally in meetings with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fundraising, business development, partnerships, sales or sponsorships.
• Demonstrated ability to secure donors, sponsors or other financial sources.
• Strong donor‑relationship management, partnership development and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Experience in campaign planning, event coordination and strategy implementation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to prepare clear proposals, reports and sponsorship packages.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Serbian.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and project‑management skills with attention to detail.
