General Ledger & Reporting Senior Specialist

About the role

As a General Ledger & Reporting Senior Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel you will ensure accurate financial reporting, safeguard assets and support strategic decisions across the global logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day accounting tasks, month‑end and year‑end closing in line with corporate finance and accounting guidelines.
• Maintain IFRS‑compliant financial records, prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate audits.
• Identify control gaps, assess risks and recommend enhancements to the internal control system.
• Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement and automation of reporting processes.
• Prepare tax computations, maintain statutory books and ensure timely submission of statutory accounts.
• Provide training to new team members and cooperate with external auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and reporting experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
