Head of Finance

About the role

We are looking for a senior, entrepreneurial Head of Finance to own and build the financial function at Treesury, a startup developing institutional investment infrastructure for natural capital. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will partner with the leadership team to shape the business model, allocate capital and drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle financial planning, budgeting and multi‑year forecasting.
• Manage daily cash flow, liquidity and treasury operations.
• Control and analyse business performance against budget and strategic plans.
• Prepare and deliver management reports and financial statements for the CEO and senior team.
• Track revenue, costs, profitability and unit economics across multiple business lines.
• Oversee payments, financial obligations and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Develop and implement financial infrastructure to support rapid growth.
• Provide strategic financial insight to influence capital allocation and investment decisions.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience in fast‑growing or venture‑backed companies.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building finance functions from scratch.
• Strong analytical and modelling capabilities combined with hands‑on execution.
• Ability to work closely with CEOs and senior managers and influence strategic direction.
• Comfort operating in a complex, multi‑line business with long investment cycles.
