IT Consultant for Functional and Technical Specification of the EMN Serbia Web Presentation

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking an IT Consultant to lead the functional and technical specification of a new bilingual web presentation for the European Migration Network (EMN) in Serbia. The consultant will work within a joint programme with UNHCR and the Serbian Ministry of Refugees and Migration to deliver a modern, user‑friendly website that supports knowledge sharing and public information.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy the EMN Serbia website.
• Establish a robust content management system (CMS) with responsive design for desktop and mobile devices.
• Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards and multilingual functionality (Serbian and English).
• Migrate existing content and create new entries, maintaining data quality.
• Provide user training, technical documentation, and warranty support to the client.
• Deliver a sustainable solution that enables independent content management by the client.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering web development projects for international organisations or NGOs.
• Strong understanding of CMS architecture, responsive design, and accessibility guidelines.
• Ability to manage content migration and multilingual site requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to train end‑users and produce clear documentation.
