Legal Counsel

About the role

We are a fast‑growing Site Enabling Organization operating globally in clinical research. As a Legal Counsel you will join our international Legal Team to provide strategic and hands‑on legal support across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and due diligence on regulatory and business environments in new and existing markets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts, including clinical trial site agreements, services agreements with pharmaceutical sponsors, employment contracts, and B2B/freelance services agreements.
• Monitor local and global legislative changes relevant to clinical research and business operations.
• Provide legal risk assessments and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all legal documents meet internal quality and formatting standards (Word/PDF).
• Work in alignment with global legal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical company, hospital, SMO or CRO operating internationally.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical/clinical research regulations and data protection laws.
• Law degree from a recognized university in Serbia; qualified lawyer in Serbia preferred.
• Fluent English (C1 level) with strong legal English proficiency.
• Proactive, accountable, confident communicator and collaborative team player.
