Legal Counsel – Remote (Global)

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its globally distributed team. You will provide comprehensive legal support across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring the company’s products and operations comply with relevant laws.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely execution and legal consistency.
• Oversee formation, maintenance, and dissolution of legal entities worldwide, developing governance frameworks and ensuring jurisdictional compliance.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for cross‑functional teams, handling day‑to‑day queries and delivering practical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Compliance, HR, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and risk management.
• Maintain and update internal legal resources, templates, and training materials to promote self‑service.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of routine legal workflows to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract lifecycle management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
• Knowledge of consumer protection laws in the EU and the USA.
• Knowledge of marketing and advertising compliance laws in the EU and the USA.
• Familiarity with EU and US digital legislation and AI governance.
• Russian language proficiency at C1+ level.
• English language proficiency at B2+ level.
