Middle UI Designer

About the role

SportSpired Games is seeking a Middle UI Designer to craft polished, intuitive, and visually engaging interfaces for its next‑generation AAA sports simulator. You will work on both visual design and in‑engine implementation, collaborating closely with UX designers, game designers, engineers, and artists.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality UI screens, HUD elements, widgets, icons, and other visual assets that follow the project’s art direction and UX guidelines.
• Prepare and implement UI assets in Unreal Engine 5 while respecting technical and performance constraints.
• Design and refine UI animations, transitions, materials, and visual effects.
• Develop responsive interfaces for multiple resolutions, aspect ratios, and target platforms.
• Maintain a consistent visual language and contribute to the UI Design System, component libraries, and guidelines.
• Optimize UI assets without compromising visual quality.
• Collaborate with the Art Director, Lead UI Artist, UX/UI Designers, Game Designers, UI Engineers, Technical Artists, VFX Artists, and QA throughout implementation.
• Test UI in‑game, identify visual or technical issues, and ensure consistent quality across platforms.

Required profile

• 1+ years of professional experience in game UI design or UI art.
• Strong understanding of AAA‑level UI production standards.
• Hands‑on experience implementing UI assets in Unreal Engine 5.
• Ability to create and edit UI animations.
• Proficiency with UI design and graphics tools.
• Experience building interactive prototypes in Figma.
• Basic knowledge of animation and visual‑effects tools.
• Understanding of responsive UI design for various screen resolutions and platforms.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
