Operations Manager & Online Business Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager / Online Business Manager to partner with the founder of Adaptive Teams. You will turn chaotic processes into efficient systems, leveraging AI and automation to free up the founder’s time for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operations and drive initiatives from concept to completion.
• Deeply understand the founder’s business, tools, standards and decision‑making processes.
• Identify manual, repetitive or broken workflows and redesign them permanently.
• Build SOPs, AI‑driven workflows and automations that reduce manual effort.
• Coordinate projects, people, vendors, timelines and key deliverables.
• Track operational performance metrics and use data to prioritize improvements.
• Make independent decisions and escalate only when necessary.
• Keep the founder updated proactively and continuously seek cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Online Business Manager or founder’s right‑hand in fast‑moving, founder‑led companies.
• Strong operational judgment with a track record of improving processes.
• High ownership, follow‑through and ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Curiosity about AI and a willingness to learn and experiment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier or Make (Integromat).
• Experience building AI agents, dashboards or internal automation workflows.
