Screening Analyst – Financial Crime

About the role

As a Screening Analyst in Qonto's Financial Crime team, you will protect a growing base of 600,000+ customers from money‑laundering and terrorist‑financing risks. You will work closely with the Lead AFC Sanctions & Investigations to ensure a secure, compliant environment across European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and investigate alerts from World‑Check One and ComplyAdvantage for PEPs, sanctions lists and adverse media.
• Process transaction‑screening alerts promptly, making acceptance or refusal decisions in the tooling system.
• Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails for all PEP and sanctions cases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (CFT Swift, Fraud, SEPA, Open Banking, AML) to improve processes.
• Contribute to compliance projects, including new procedures and tool calibration.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in AML/compliance with a focus on screening.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to prioritise multiple cases.
• Proactive communicator comfortable in a fast‑paced fintech environment.
