Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead the delivery of high‑quality accounting and financial reporting services for our Dutch client portfolio. You will combine technical expertise with coaching and continuous improvement in an international, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Dutch clients and ensure timely, accurate financial information.
• Oversee complex accounting activities and review work of junior team members.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Handle VAT and Corporate Income Tax calculations and reporting.
• Analyse financial results, resolve complex accounting issues and support tax compliance.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities.
• Coach and develop Junior and Semi‑Senior Accountants.
• Collaborate directly with Dutch colleagues and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Hands‑on experience with VAT and Corporate Income Tax compliance.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to coach others.
