Senior Accountant – Shared Services Center

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead accounting and treasury processes within the Shared Services Center, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency across multiple entities of a global organization. You will support month‑end closings, manage payments and bank administration, and work closely with internal and external audit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, expenses, payroll and travel costs.
• Handle intercompany billing, invoice processing and related reconciliations.
• Prepare and review general‑ledger postings, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and year‑end closings in accordance with IFRS or local GAAP.
• Support the preparation of management reports, balance‑sheet reviews and statutory financial statements.
• Maintain intercompany transactions, eliminations and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls and business rules.
• Identify opportunities to standardise and automate accounting processes within the SSC.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation.
• Manage day‑to‑day bank administration, vendor and intercompany payments, and bank reconciliations.

Required profile

• Strong experience with IFRS or local GAAP and multi‑entity accounting.
• Proven ability to support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing cycles.
• Experience working with external auditors and preparing statutory financial statements.
• Familiarity with treasury functions, bank administration and payment processing.
• Ability to work with global teams and maintain documentation on SharePoint.
