Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Rho is building a modern banking platform for the AI era and needs a Senior Data Engineer to help scale its commercial banking technology. You will join the data products team, creating reusable, ML‑powered data services that serve multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and own reliable, scalable data pipelines and datasets that other teams can discover and trust.
• Apply strong software‑engineering practices (clean code, testing, CI/CD) to data products and ML systems.
• Develop horizontal ML‑driven products such as OCR pipelines, transaction coding suggestion engines, and RAG‑based tools.
• Define and enforce data product quality through monitoring, alerts, and SLAs.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on data products.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or DevOps.
• Proven ability to build, own, and iterate on data products based on consumer feedback.
• Experience designing reusable systems for multiple teams.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, customer‑focused mindset.
