About the role
At d-Matrix we are focused on unleashing the potential of generative AI to power technology transformation. The role requires you to be part of the team that productizes the software stack for our AI compute engine, developing and maintaining software kernels for next‑generation AI hardware.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain software kernels for next‑generation AI hardware.
- Collaborate with compiler experts to build compiler infrastructure and work closely with ML, systems, and hardware teams.
Required profile
- MS in computer engineering, math, physics, or related field with 5+ years industry experience (or PhD with 1+ year).
- Strong grasp of computer architecture, data structures, system software, and machine learning fundamentals.
Required skills
- Proficient in C/C++ and Python development in Linux environments.
- Experience with CUDA, FPGA, DSP, GPUs, and AI accelerators.
- Implementing ML operators such as GEMMs, convolutions, BLAS, SIMD, softmax, layer normalization, and pooling.
- Development for embedded SIMD vector processors (e.g., Tensilica).
- Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and compilers (MLIR, LLVM, TVM, Glow).
