Senior Software Engineer – OTA Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our newly created Belgrade team and help build and scale the Over-the-Air (OTA) platform that powers mission-critical updates for hundreds of thousands of vehicles worldwide. You will own end-to-end features across both backend and frontend, delivering high-throughput cloud services and user-facing workflows in a fast-moving production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship significant features using Java/Spring Boot, Go, Python, React, TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, define technical approaches and ensure long-term scalability.
• Break down ambiguous problems into actionable tasks and balance quality, velocity and risk.
• Build reliable release pipelines and improve observability with tools such as Datadog.
• Deploy and operate containerised services on AWS-hosted Kubernetes clusters.
• Conduct thorough code and design reviews to raise engineering standards.

Required profile

• At least five years of professional software development experience with a proven record of delivering production-grade features.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in distributed, micro-service environments and designing REST APIs.
