Software Engineer – PHP/Symfony & Vue 3 (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help build and evolve our international platform for business events and conferences. The role involves working on a modular monolith backend and a Vue 3 frontend, delivering features that power attendee registration, event schedules, networking, and ticketing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new backend services while supporting existing ones.
• Build markup, develop widgets, and implement UI components.
• Write unit and functional tests to ensure code quality.
• Design Doctrine entities, optimize MySQL queries, and manage database performance.
• Integrate third‑party services and maintain technical documentation.
• Deploy applications and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and maintaining PHP/Symfony applications in production.
• Familiarity with Domain‑Driven Design, modular architecture, and REST API development.
• Hands‑on experience with Vue 3, UI behavior, and API integration.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, Doctrine entity design, and query optimization.
• Comfortable with testing workflows, static analysis, and code‑style enforcement in CI.
• Ability to document work clearly and communicate in English.
