Clinical Data Manager Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Data Manager Project Manager to lead multiple clinical studies or programs. In this role you will ensure operational excellence, manage project timelines, budgets, and deliver high‑quality data management outputs that meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support and coaching to the data management (DM) team to ensure accurate, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison between the project team and the client.
• Develop and deliver study‑specific training for DM staff and conduct independent reviews of DM deliverables following CDM guidelines.
• Monitor risks to deliverables and finances, propose mitigation strategies, and manage project budgets.
• Participate in business development activities, assist with bid preparation, and represent data management at bid defense meetings.
• Forecast project hours, identify resource needs, and handle out‑of‑scope work and contract modifications.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and training for the data management function.
• Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of project activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic/vocational qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in clinical data management or project management.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines, global SOPs, and client expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
