Director / Senior Director, FSP Operational Delivery Lead (EMEA)

About the role

This senior leadership position oversees functional service provider (FSP) delivery across the EMEA region for a global pharmaceutical and biotech services organization. The role drives portfolio strategy, operational transformation, and client partnership growth while aligning with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of multiple FSP portfolios and strategic client relationships.
• Develop and execute long‑term portfolio strategies that support business growth.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and delivery consistency.
• Serve as the operational lead for key FSP partnerships, managing governance, business reviews, and complex escalations.
• Partner with Business Development on proposals, sales strategy, and account expansion to drive revenue and profitability.
• Lead Directors and senior leaders across portfolios, building succession pipelines and championing change programs.
• Drive implementation of digital, analytics, automation and AI‑enabled solutions to enhance quality, speed and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant academic or vocational qualification.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in management or senior leadership.
• Proven ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment on regulatory and sponsor needs.
• Strong leadership, strategic advisory, and client‑facing capabilities.
