Fund Accountant

About the role

The Fund Accountant will support the fund administration team by preparing journal entries, producing financial statements and assisting with audit processes. This entry‑level position offers exposure to private‑equity fund operations and the opportunity to develop core accounting skills in a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and input daily journal entries.
• Produce fund financial statements, footnotes and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate and support year‑end audit activities.
• Monitor and record daily cash activity.
• Prepare fund capital activity allocations and partner capital accounts.
• Track portfolio company transactions and calculate investment returns.
• Respond to various investor and investment requests.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and client‑specific assistance as required.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• University degree, preferably in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Audit.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated team player with the ability to multitask.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
