Global Estates Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Global Estates Manager to oversee Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Clinical Research Division (CRG) real‑estate lease portfolio, which includes office and laboratory facilities worldwide. The role ensures accurate lease administration, compliance and alignment of the real‑estate footprint with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support a diverse portfolio of properties across multiple locations and countries, aligning with strategic portfolio plans.
• Conduct market research with real‑estate partners to identify trends, demand and opportunities.
• Prepare, review and maintain lease agreements, amendments and related documentation.
• Assist in negotiations for leases, purchases and sales of corporate properties.
• Track critical lease dates such as rent escalations, renewals and expirations.
• Support accurate lease accounting, rent payments and security deposits.
• Liaise with landlords, contractors and internal stakeholders to resolve lease‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with lease terms, real‑estate laws and regulations.
• Contribute to workplace innovation strategies that enhance employee productivity and safety.
• Support sustainability initiatives related to the real‑estate portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, law or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global, highly regulated organization.
• Strong understanding of valuation, feasibility studies and financial modelling.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and a keen eye for detail.
