HR Operations Specialist – German Speaking

About the role

As an HR Operations Specialist focusing on German‑speaking employees, you will deliver reliable, efficient and employee‑focused HR services for colleagues in Switzerland and Germany. You will join a dynamic, multi‑country People Operations team where creativity and continuous learning are encouraged.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the virtual HR inbox and advise employees and managers on HR, administrative and employment‑related matters.
• Handle personnel administration throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off‑boarding, including contracts, amendments, confirmations, reference letters and official certificates.
• Maintain accurate employee data and organisational structures in Abacus and other HR systems.
• Oversee Enboarder onboarding and off‑boarding workflows and manage first‑level escalations.
• Update HR content on the Notion intranet and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and templates.
• Support HR projects and collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll and the wider People Operations team.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of experience in HR Operations or HR Administration, preferably supporting Switzerland and Germany.
• Good knowledge of Swiss HR administration; exposure to German employment administration is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, pragmatic, reliable with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience with HR systems such as Abacus.
• Familiarity with Enboarder for onboarding/off‑boarding workflows.
• Use of Notion for internal HR content management.
