IT Solution Designer

About the role

As an IT Solution Designer / Solution Architect (in‑house), you will work across all layers of IT to introduce new solutions, assets and services in a sustainable and secure manner, driving the digital transformation of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design the architecture for digital services, ensuring compliance with policies, hosting, network, user access, data retention and sustainable operations.
• Analyze design patterns, suppliers and products to meet functional and quality requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Plan effort estimates and implementation schedules aligned with project managers.
• Lead the technical sub‑project, coordinating implementation with subject‑matter experts and operations teams.
• Create documentation and architectural views and present results to stakeholders and peers.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or completed vocational training, with several years of relevant experience.
• Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, application management, databases, cloud, network, security, IAM and monitoring, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Proven experience structuring, presenting and communicating results to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong ownership of priorities, work structure and task management.
• Proficiency in English; German is a valuable optional skill.
