Graduate AI Engineer – Banking Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate AI Engineer to join our AI innovation team and help shape the next generation of banking products. This role offers early‑career developers hands‑on experience with Generative AI technologies in a real‑world enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy AI‑powered features for core banking software.
• Participate in the full AI innovation lifecycle, from prototyping new ideas to delivering scalable production‑ready solutions.
• Work with banking data and processes to create AI applications that generate insights, automate tasks and improve user experiences.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, solution experts and customer‑facing teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of approaches to integrate large language models (LLMs) into enterprise solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, C++ or R.
• First experience with cloud‑native development (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) and containerisation/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable AI architectures.
