Junior Shared Services Center Accountant

sa.global is seeking a motivated Junior Shared Services Center (SSC) Accountant to join its international finance team in New Belgrade, Serbia. The hybrid role offers practical accounting experience within a global environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing intercompany billing, invoices, expense reports and incoming invoices in the ERP finance module.
• Preparing monthly payment runs, performing bank transactions and reconciliations, and posting to the general ledger.
• Conducting bank reconciliations, payroll journal processing, and intercompany balance‑sheet and profit‑and‑loss reconciliations.
• Participating in month‑end and year‑end closing activities and supporting audit processes.
• Maintaining supporting documentation in SharePoint and providing accurate financial data for reporting and analysis.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (preferred).
• Previous internship or entry‑level experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Technical skills required:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP system.
• Experience with SharePoint for document management.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes.
