Lifecycle Strategist

About the role

Join our Growth Marketing team as a Lifecycle Strategist, owning the end‑to‑end merchant journey from activation to long‑term engagement. You will use email, SMS, in‑app and other channels to help merchants achieve their first sale and grow revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an experimentation roadmap across onboarding, activation and retention stages.
• Own the merchant activation rate metric, measuring, influencing and sharing insights.
• Build, launch and optimise lifecycle flows in Iterable (or similar CRM platform).
• Design and run structured A/B tests, turning results into repeatable playbooks.
• Analyse behavioural data in Amplitude and Looker to identify drop‑offs and high‑impact opportunities.
• Lead cross‑functional discussions with Product and Design to shape post‑login experiences.
• Act as the bridge between Data, Customer Success and Marketing, translating merchant signals into targeted messaging.
• Champion an experimentation culture by documenting tests, sharing learnings and encouraging bold ideas.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM or growth roles at a B2B SaaS, marketplace or e‑commerce company.
• Proven track record of building and iterating workflows from scratch.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
• Natural collaborator who can rally product, design and data teams without formal authority.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with an enterprise CRM platform such as Iterable or Braze.
• Expertise in designing and interpreting A/B tests.
• Proficiency with product analytics tools like Amplitude and Looker.
