Manager, Internal Audit

About the role

We are seeking a self‑driven Manager, Internal Audit to join our global Internal Audit Department in Belgrade. You will own audit engagements end‑to‑end, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and partner with stakeholders to identify risks, drive improvements, and strengthen the organization’s control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute complex audit projects from planning through reporting.
• Implement and continuously improve audit methodologies and procedures.
• Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Monitor management’s implementation of audit recommendations and ensure accountability.
• Coordinate activities with external auditors and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards and regulatory requirements such as SOX.
• Stay informed on audit hot topics and emerging professional trends.
• Collaborate with audit team members and business process owners to evaluate risks, document processes, improve control test plans, perform control testing, and monitor remediation efforts.

Required profile

• Proficient in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in an audit environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• CISA and/or CISSP
• COSO framework
• NIST, ISO and COBIT governance frameworks
• IT audit experience (ISO 27001, SDLC, Access Management, Change Management, Release Management, IT Security, Cloud Controls, Backup and Recovery)
• Data‑analytics tools: Power BI, SQL, CAATs, IDEA, ACL, Tableau
