Finance & Accounting Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are partnering with an international manufacturing company based in Kikinda that is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to lead its finance function in a dynamic production environment. The role will oversee all accounting activities, drive financial planning, and support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations, managing a finance team.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow and long‑term financial planning.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances and advise management.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory and month‑end closing.
• Control production costing, inventory accounting, cost variances and manufacturing overheads.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain and Management on cost control and business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls and company policies.
• Support audits and maintain relationships with external financial partners.
• Drive process improvements and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of production/cost accounting and inventory management.
• Previous leadership or management experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
