Medior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Leanpay, a fast‑growing fintech leader in BNPL and digital point‑of‑sale finance across Central and South‑Eastern Europe, is seeking a Medior DevOps Engineer to join its Serbia‑based IT team. You will ensure reliable deployments, resolve production incidents, and help build scalable, observable infrastructure for our consumer‑lending platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage deployments across test, stage and production environments, guaranteeing smooth rollouts and minimal downtime.
• Resolve critical production issues quickly, including unplanned hot‑fixes.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and observability practices using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and Sentry.
• Configure and maintain Cloudflare services (DNS, WAF, rate limiting, caching, Zero Trust) for public‑facing applications.
• Collaborate with developers to design scalable infrastructure and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, ensuring consistency across environments.
• Support Kubernetes clusters, PostgreSQL databases and other critical production services.
• Automate workflow provisioning and contribute to environment automation.
• Leverage agentic coding tools such as Claude Code to accelerate troubleshooting, automation and documentation.
• Share knowledge with teammates and stay up‑to‑date with industry trends.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on experience with Kubernetes deployments and Terraform‑based infrastructure.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents under pressure.
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting and observability tools.
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to work across development and operations teams.
