QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious QA Automation Engineer to join our iGaming‑focused IT company in New Belgrade. The role is full‑time and combines both automated and manual testing to ensure high‑quality releases across UI, API and integration layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests for critical UI journeys, API workflows and service integrations.
• Contribute to automation frameworks, shared testing utilities, test data management and CI/CD test execution.
• Perform manual, functional, exploratory and risk‑based testing while building product and domain knowledge.
• Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into clear test scenarios, identifying gaps and automation opportunities.
• Validate system behaviour using browser developer tools, APIs, logs, network requests and databases.
• Investigate defects, flaky tests and automated‑test failures, collaborating with engineers to resolve root causes.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers and product stakeholders throughout the sprint.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (up to 70 remote days per year).
• Based in or willing to relocate to New Belgrade.

Required skills

• Automated testing of web UI and APIs.
• Experience with test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with browser developer tools, network inspection and database validation.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable test scripts and data.
